The Inside Pitch Baseball Camp returns to West Kelowna on April 13th

Morgan Reiter, Director of Player Development for Inside Pitch Baseball Academy will be returning to West Kelowna
to share a wealth of experience and knowledge with our players. Morgan is a highly touted coach and instructor, who played NCAA div.1 Baseball and is currently the only National Pitching Association certified trainer in Canada. Morgan will be assisted by a number of current and former professional & college baseball players who also have experience directing and teaching camps across Canada.

The camp will consist of 2 portions, Power Pitching (8-15 Years) and Hitting & Skills (6-15 Years).

The Pitching Camp will run from 10:00am to 12:30 pm, the Hitting & Skills Camp will run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Players may sign up for either portion individually ($65.00 for Pitching, $65.00 for Hitting & Skills) or they may choose to sign up for both camps and only pay $120.

The BCBUA & COBUA are holding clinics for prospective umpires in the Okanagan.

Dates are as follows:

3 Week Course
Tuesdays – April 2, 9, 16 – 5:30pm
Wednesdays – April 3, 10 & 17 – 5:30pm

Location: Edith Gay Park – Rutland

1 Day Course
Saturday, April 6 – 9am

Location: Carmi Elementary School – Penticton

Registration for the 2019 WKMBA Spring Baseball Season is now open for the following divisions.

7U: (born 2012 – 2013)
9U: (born 2010 – 2011)
11U: (born 2008 – 2009)
13U: (born 2006 – 2007)
15U: (born 2004 – 2005)
18U: (born 2001 – 2003)

2019 Spring Season starts approximately April 15th
Registration runs from January 1st to March 15th
Register early as last year saw some divisions full.

The Board of Directors of West Kelowna Minor Baseball would like to wish all our Players, Families, Parents, Coaches, Umpires, and Volunteers a Very Happy and Safe Holiday Season


West Kelowna Minor Baseball is excited to have another year of Winter Ball in 2019. Keep your skills sharp through the Winter with our 10 Week Practice Program for ages 9U up to 18U. Sessions will focus on improving the 5 fundamental skills of Baseball (Throwing, Catching, Hitting for Contact, Hitting for Power & Baserunning) and focus on giving players an advantage leading into the 2019 Season.

9U/11U (Combined)
The 9U & 11U Combined Program will take place every Saturday mornings from January 12th to March 16th at Sensisyusten from 9 am to 10:20 am, and Hitting sessions will be held Wednesdays nights beginning January 9 thru March 13th at Hudson Road Elementary School located at 1221 Hudson Road from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Saturday: Practice Session – 9am – 10:25am at Sensisyusten
Wednesday: Hitting Session – 6:30pm – 7:30pm at Hudson Road Elementary
Cost for this is: $175 for All 20 Sessions or $10 Drop-In


The 13U Program will take place every Saturday & Monday from January 12th to March 16th at Sensisyusten.

Saturday: Practice Session – 10:30am – 12:00pm at Sensisyusten
Mondays: Practice Session – 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Sensisyusten

Cost for this is: $175 for all 20 Sessions or $10 Drop-In

15U/18U (Combined)

The 15U & 18U Combined Program will take place every Monday from January 7th to March 11th at Sensisyusten with 2 additional Sessions at the Kelowna United Soccer Dome January 26th and Feb 23 from 12:30 to 2 pm.

Monday: Practice Session – 7:30pm – 9:00pm at Sensisyusten
Saturday: Hitting Sessions – January 26, ( Next to H2)) February 23 (Next to Rutland arena) at Kelowna United Soccer Dome

Sessions go from January 7th to March 16th with a total number of 13 sessions.

Cost for this is: $150 for all 13 Sessions or $15 Drop-In.
