Congratulations to the West Kelowna DBacks who beat the Kamloops Riverdogs in the bronze medal game last Sunday May 31st to capture 3rd place in the Rutland pee-wee AA tournament with a 12-8 win. It was an all out hitting attack as the DBacks pounded 15 hits and played solid defence. Connor Dojohn won MVP of the game with strong pitching giving up only 5 hits and 2 runs over 5 innings. Kamloops had a late charge but the DBacks held them off for the win.
